CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAI~DA COUNTY, CALIFOP~IA <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION NO. 82-220 <br /> <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-123 (A RESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES FOR VARIOUS MUNICIPAL <br />SERVICES OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON) ESTABLISHING A <br />15% SURCHARGE FOR RESIDENTIAL BUILDING PERMITS <br /> <br />~iEREAS, <br /> <br />new State Energy Conservation requirements, effective <br />July 13, 1982, will increase inspection and plan <br />check costs to the City; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is in receipt of a staff report <br />dated June 16, 1982 from the Chief Building Inspector <br />outlining the new requirements and the effect the <br />requirements will have on the City; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS , <br /> <br />after a review of the above material, the City <br />Council determines that it is necessary to amend <br />Resolution No. 77-123 to include a surcharge for <br />each residential building permit effective July 13, <br />1982; <br /> <br />NOW, TtlEP~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 77-123 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Fees and Charges for Various Municipal Services of <br /> the City of Pleasanton), paragraph II (ttousing and <br /> Community Development), subparagraph A (Building <br /> Inspection Division) is amended by adding the <br /> following subsection: <br /> <br />Surcharge - 15% of building permit fee on all <br />permits for residential occupancies applied <br />for after 7/12/82." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED J~E 22, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES Councilmembers <br /> Mayor Mohr <br />NOES None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />- Brandes, Mercer, Wood and Vice <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM.: <br /> <br />Brian W.
