CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION NO. 82-217 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF <br />SECRETARIAT DRIVE <br /> <br />~IEPZAS, <br /> <br />it has come to the attention of the City Council <br />that a portion of Secretariat Drive may be <br />unnecessary for present or prospective public <br />street use; and <br /> <br />WtlEP~AS, <br /> <br />it is necessary for the City to vacate that <br />portion of land pursuant to the requirements of <br />Section 8320 et seq. of the Streets and Highways <br />Code of California; <br /> <br />NOW, THEP~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Pursuant to Section 8320 et seq. of the Streets <br /> and tlighways Code of California, the City Council <br /> hereby declares its intention to vacate a portion <br /> of Secretariat Drive unnecessary for present or <br /> prospective public use, said portion being an 860 <br /> sq. ft. segment approximately 10 ft. wide located <br /> at the eastern terminus of Secretariat Drive at <br /> Northway Road, more particularly described on maps <br /> on file with the Engineering Division of the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2: A public hearing shall be held on July 13, 1982, <br /> at 8:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 200 <br /> Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California at which <br /> time public testimony will be taken with regard to <br /> the City's intention to vacate the portion of <br /> roadway above-described. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 22, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Wood and <br /> Vice Mayor I~ohr <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: _ <br /> ~er,~'~ty APPROVED AS TO FO~f: R <br /> <br />By Doris George Deputy City Clerk <br /> Brian W.
