CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAJ~DA COUNTY, CALIFOP~IA RESOLUTION NO. 82-213 P~SOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND GRANTING DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL FOR THE SUPER 8 MOTEL ~tEREAS, at its meeting of May 19, 1982, the Design Review Board approved the design of a 100-unit, three- story motel proposed to be constructed on an approximately two acre site located immediately southeast of the intersection of 1-580 and Hopyard Road; and ~IEREAS, within the time specified by the Ordinance Code, the City Council appealed the decision; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 22, 1982, the City Council reviewed a report dated June 15, 1982 from the Director of Planning and Community Development together with copies of the staff report to the Design Review Board and the minutes of l~ay 19, 1982; and ~IEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment a negative declaration was adopted by Council on June 22, 1982; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing at which time applicant and any other member of the public was offered an opportunity to present evidence regarding this appeal; and ~IEREAS, Council determined modification to Condition No. 4 and the addition of Condition No. 29 relating to access southbound were necessary; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Denies the appeal and grants Design Review approval for an approximately 36,000 sq. ft., 100-unit, three-story motel and related facilities on an approximately two acre site located at the southeast corner of 1-580 and Hopyard Road, subject to the conditions on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
