CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIF0~NIA P~SOLUTION NO. 82-212 P~SOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR DESIGN P~VIEW APPROVAL OF A 100-I~IT MOTEL TO BE LOCATED ON APPROXIMATELY TWO ACP~S SOUTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF 1-580 AND HOPYARD ROAD WtlEREAS , at its meeting of June 22, 1982, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for Design Review approval of an approximately 36,000 sq. ft., 100-unit motel and related facilities on an approximately two acre site located at the southeast corner of 1-580 and Hopyard Road; and ~IEP~AS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated April 16, 1982 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and I,PHEREAS, WtlEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WtlEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed Design Review approval would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON P~SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the Design Review approval for an approximately 36,000 sq. ft., 100-unit motel and related facilities on an approximately two acre site located at the southeast corner of 1-580 and Hopyard Road. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 22, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
