CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALA~%DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-211 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLAP~TION FOR <br />REZONING LOTS ON THE EAST SIDE OF lEAIN STP~EET <br />BETWEEN ABBIE STPdZET AND TIlE SOUTtlERN PACIFIC <br />TRANSPORTATION COMPANY RIGt!T-OF-WAY FROM THE <br />"O/C-O" DISTRICT TO TIlE "C-C/C-O" DISTRICT <br /> <br />WtIEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 22, 1982, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for <br />rezoning the lots on the east side of l~ain Street <br />between Abbie Street and the Southern Pacific <br />Transportation Company right-of-way from the <br />"O/C-O" (Office-Civic Overlay) District to the <br />"C-C/C-O" (Central Com~.ercial-Civic Overlay) <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEP~AS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated May 18, 1982 and received <br />the recorFendations of the staff and Planning <br />Com~,ission; and <br /> <br />WtlEP~AS <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on <br />the proposed environmental assessment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WtlEKEAS <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on <br />the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEP$FOPZ, TttE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASAMTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> That a Negative Declaration be adopted for the <br />rezoning of the lots on the east side of }~ain Street <br />between Abbie Street and the Southern Pacific <br />Transportation Company right-of-way from the <br />"O/C-O" (Office-Civic Overlay) District to the <br />"C-C/C-O" (Central Commercial-Civic Overlay) District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective irmT_ediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
