CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALA~%DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-211 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLAP~TION FOR REZONING LOTS ON THE EAST SIDE OF lEAIN STP~EET BETWEEN ABBIE STPdZET AND TIlE SOUTtlERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY RIGt!T-OF-WAY FROM THE "O/C-O" DISTRICT TO TIlE "C-C/C-O" DISTRICT WtIEREAS, at its meeting of June 22, 1982, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for rezoning the lots on the east side of l~ain Street between Abbie Street and the Southern Pacific Transportation Company right-of-way from the "O/C-O" (Office-Civic Overlay) District to the "C-C/C-O" (Central Com~.ercial-Civic Overlay) District; and WHEP~AS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated May 18, 1982 and received the recorFendations of the staff and Planning Com~,ission; and WtlEP~AS a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment; and WHEREAS the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WtlEKEAS the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEP$FOPZ, TttE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASAMTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That a Negative Declaration be adopted for the rezoning of the lots on the east side of }~ain Street between Abbie Street and the Southern Pacific Transportation Company right-of-way from the "O/C-O" (Office-Civic Overlay) District to the "C-C/C-O" (Central Commercial-Civic Overlay) District. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective irmT_ediately upon its passage and adoption.
