CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-228 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE TRI-VALLEY COmmUNITY TELEVISION CORPORATION AS THE OFFICIAL. BODY TO RECEIVE CABLE GRANT FUNDS WHEREAS the City of Pleasanton and Viacom entered into an agreement extending the cable television franchise to July 15, 1985; and WHEREAS pursuant to the terms of the above agreement, a nonprofit corporation was to be formed to receive funds and to assist in the programing of community service television, said nonprofit corporation requiring approval by the City of Pleasanton with the concurrence of the City of Livermore; and WttEREAS Tri-Valley Community Television has been duly incorporated as a nonprofit corporation with its purpose being to provide community service television and represents all the tri-valley interests; and WHEREAS at this time, it is appropriate for the City Council to designate TriValley Community Television as the official body to receive funds and develop community service television pursuant to the Viacom cablevision extension agreement, subject to con- currence of the City of Livermore; NOW, TttEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON P~SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Designates Tri-Valley Community Television as the nonprofit corporation to receive funds and to develop community service television pursuant to the Viacom cablevision extension agreement. Section 2: Directs the City Manager to advise the City of Livermore of this action and request its concurrence. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon concurrence of the City of Livermore of this designation. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 22, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
