FOR TIIE SLUF. P,Y SEALlUG O~I VARIOUS <br />CITY STREETS, PRCJECT IIC. 82-12 <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for the <br />slurry sealing on various city streets, Project <br />No. 82-12; and <br /> <br />WHEP~AS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the <br />City Engineering Services Division advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />~IEKEAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on July 27, <br /> 1982; and <br /> <br />~tEREAS, <br /> <br />the bid of McP~OLDS PAVIIIG, IIIC., in the amount <br />of $25,220.00 was determined to be the lowest <br />responsible bid; and <br /> <br />V~IEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br />that the bid of iicReynolds Paving, Inc. be accepted; <br />and <br /> <br />I~!EREAS, the available funds to complete this project are <br /> $30,000.00; <br /> <br />r]OW, TtlEP~FORE, TtIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />PZSOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of ~cReynolds Paving, Inc., in the <br /> amount of $25,220, for slurry sealing on various <br /> city streets, Project IIo. 82-12, is hereby accepted <br /> by the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City is authorized to enter into a contract <br /> with I~cReynolds Paving, Inc. for the improvements <br /> specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TIIIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 27, 1982 BY TIlE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />None <br />Councilmember Brandes <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
