~IEREAS , <br /> <br />W]IEREAS, <br /> <br />W]IEKEAS, <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY CO~CIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />AI~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />KESOLUTION NO. 82-251 <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION ESTABLISHING FIP~ DEPARTMENT INSPECTION <br />FEE SCHEDULE <br /> <br />in the past, the Pleasanton Fire Department has <br />not charged any fees for service to local building <br />owners, tenants and others for permits, use, plan <br />review or inspection services; and <br /> <br />due to a great increase in the need for fire <br />inspection services caused by ongoing development, <br />it is now necessary to establish a fee schedule in <br />order to maintain an acceptable level of service; <br />and <br /> <br />the Fire Chief presented a report to the City <br />Council describing the proposed fee schedule and <br />the basis for the charges; and <br /> <br />Resolution No. 77-123 (A Resolution Establishing <br />Fees and Charges for Various Kunicipal Services) <br />is the present repository for listing of fees and <br />charges for the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />~EP~AS, <br /> <br />after discussion and review of the staff report, <br />Council determines that it is in order to establish <br />fees for fire department inspections and services; <br /> <br />NO~% THEP~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />P~SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution IIo. 77-123 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Fees and Charges for Various 1~unicipal Services of <br /> the City of Pleasanton) is hereby amended by <br /> adding a new Section IX (Fire Inspection Fees) as <br /> set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TtlIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 13, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
