~IEREAS , W]IEREAS, W]IEKEAS, WtlEREAS, CITY CO~CIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AI~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA KESOLUTION NO. 82-251 P~SOLUTION ESTABLISHING FIP~ DEPARTMENT INSPECTION FEE SCHEDULE in the past, the Pleasanton Fire Department has not charged any fees for service to local building owners, tenants and others for permits, use, plan review or inspection services; and due to a great increase in the need for fire inspection services caused by ongoing development, it is now necessary to establish a fee schedule in order to maintain an acceptable level of service; and the Fire Chief presented a report to the City Council describing the proposed fee schedule and the basis for the charges; and Resolution No. 77-123 (A Resolution Establishing Fees and Charges for Various Kunicipal Services) is the present repository for listing of fees and charges for the City of Pleasanton; and ~EP~AS, after discussion and review of the staff report, Council determines that it is in order to establish fees for fire department inspections and services; NO~% THEP~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON P~SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Resolution IIo. 77-123 (A Resolution Establishing Fees and Charges for Various 1~unicipal Services of the City of Pleasanton) is hereby amended by adding a new Section IX (Fire Inspection Fees) as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
