CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-244 <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION Ct~NGING THE N~-~ OF SECRETARIAT DRIVE <br />TO SECRETARIAT COURT <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, Secretariat Drive formerly extended from 1lopyard <br /> Road to Northway Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />effective July 13, 1982, Secretariat Drive is no <br />longer a through street, but rather now ends in a <br />cul-de-sac at Northway Road; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS , <br /> <br />in order to avoid confusion of motorists, the <br />street should be designated as a court to alert <br />them that it is not a through street; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS , <br /> <br />a public hearing was held at which time the public <br />was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed name change; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />P~SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That the name of Secretariat Drive be changed to <br /> Secretariat Court. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 13, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilm~ambers - Brandes, ~¢arcer, ~rohr, Wood and Nayor Butler <br /> <br />ATTEST: ROB~E~.BU~OR <br /> <br />James R.
