CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALA}~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-243 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF SECRETARIAT DRIVE <br /> <br />~HEREAS , <br /> <br />on June 22, 1982, the City Council received a <br />staff report recommending the vacation of a <br />portion of Secretariat Drive, more particularly <br />described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by <br />this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEP~AS, on June 22, 1982, Council adopted a resolution of <br /> intention to vacate the portion of street; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS, the appropriate notice was given pursuant to <br /> Streets and Highways Code, §8300, et seq.; and <br /> <br />W}IEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held at which time the public <br />was given the opportunity to comment on the proposed <br />vacation of a portion of Secretariat Drive; and <br /> <br />~FIEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council determines that the above-described <br />portion of Secretariat Drive is unnecessary for <br />present or prospective public street use; and <br /> <br />NOW, TtIEREFORE, TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That the portion of Secretariat Drive, more <br /> particularly described in the attached Exhibit "A" <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference, is <br /> hereby vacated. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 13, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN:None <br /> <br />CoLmcilm~mbers - Brandes, ~'~rcer, rohr, Wood and l~ayor Butler <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />ROBER~.BUT~~ <br /> <br /> <br />
