CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALA1ZDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />PJESOLUTIOII i30.82-276 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DEIUYING CLAI~I OF PACIFIC TELEPt!ONE <br /> <br />~iEPtAS, <br /> <br />on June 16, 1982, the City received a claim fro~ <br />Pacific Telephone for damage to one of their toll <br />cables on liay 24, 1982; and <br /> <br />WtlEPjEAS, <br /> <br />on July 27, 1982, the City Council reviewed the <br />claim and determined that it should be denied; <br /> <br />NOW, TtIEP~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The claim presented on June 16, 1982 against the <br />City of Pleasanton on behalf of Pacific Telephone <br />in the sum of $5,000 for damages to one of its <br />toll cables on Hay 2~, 1982, is hereby denied. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TtIIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 27, 1982 BY TIlE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - l!ercer, Hohr, Wood and lffayor Butler <br />NOWS: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: ~ ~ <br /> R.'
