The streets, roads and rights-of-way in the District <br />are extensively used by general public and carry a <br />heavy volume of pedestrian and vehicular traffic. <br /> <br />RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the following exceptions in said Underground <br /> Utility District No. 82-2 be and are hereby authorized, <br /> pursuant to Section 5-9.50 of Article 2, Chapter 10, of <br /> Title V of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton: <br /> <br />1. Poles, or electrollers used exclusively for street <br /> lighting. <br /> <br />Overhead wires (exclusive of supporting structures) <br />crossing any portion of the District within which <br />overhead wires have been prohibited, or connecting <br />to buildings on the perimeter of the District, when <br />such wires originate in an area from which poles, <br />overhead wires and associated overhead structures are <br />not prohibited. <br /> <br />Overhead wires attached to the exterior surface of a <br />building by means of a bracket or other fixture and <br />extending from one location on the building to another <br />location on the same building or to an adjacent building <br />without crossing any public street. <br /> <br />Equipment appurtenant to underground facilities, such <br />as surface mounted transformers, pedestal mounted <br />terminal boxes and meter cabinets, and concealed ducts. <br /> <br />Temporary poles, overhead wires and associated overhead <br />structures shall be removed and underground installations <br />made in said Underground Utility District No. 82-2 within <br />the following times: <br /> <br />Affected property owners must be ready to receive <br />underground service not later than May 1, 1983. <br /> <br />Removal of poles, overhead wires and other <br />associated structures no later thah July 1, 1983. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
