CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COIR~TY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-261 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTP~CT FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF SECP~TARIAT DRIVE TP~_FFIC <br />DIVERTER, PROJrCT NO. 82-13 <br /> <br />~IEP~AS, <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for <br />construction of the Secretariat Drive traffic <br />diverter, Project rio. 82-13; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the <br />City Engineering Services Division advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />1~IEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on July 27, <br /> 1982; and <br /> <br />~EP~AS, the bid of Cene Caldeira Grading and Paving, Inc., in <br /> the amount of $10,162.6Z. was determined to be the <br /> lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />I~HEPdZAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br />that the bid of Gene Caldeira Grading and Paving, <br />Inc. be accepted; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS, the available funds to complete this project are <br /> $11,158.00; <br /> <br />UOW, TIIEPZFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />P~SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Gene Caldeira Cra~ing and Paving, Inc., <br /> in the amount of $10,162.6~, for construction of the <br /> Secretariat Drive traffic diverter Project %io. 82-13, <br /> is hereby accepted by the City Council as the <br /> lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City is authorized to enter into a contract <br /> with Gene Caldeira Grading and Paving, Inc. for the <br /> improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TIIIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 27, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
