CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOP~IA <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION N0.82-294 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL <br />INSURANCE COMPANY FOR DESIGN APPROVAL FOR A[I <br />APPROXI~r~TELY 82,500 SQ, FT. BUILDING ON AN <br />APPROXIMATELY 6 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT THE SOUTttWEST <br />COP~]ER OF THE INTERSECTION OF WEST LAS POSITAS <br />BOULEVAP~ AND HACIENDA DRIVE <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />Prudential Insurance Company has applied for <br />design approval for an approximately 82,500 sq. ft. <br />building on an approximately 6 acre site located <br />at the southwest corner of the intersection of <br />West Las Positas Boulevard and Hacienda Drive; <br />and <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for <br />the development plan of the subject site (PUD-81- <br />30) including the typical architectural and site <br />designs for individual lots, and there are no <br />changed circumstances or new information requiring <br />additional environmental=review; therefore, this <br />application does not constitute a new project <br />under CEQA and nonew environmental documents <br />accompany this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on August 10, 1982 and <br />testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br />including its design, cumulative impact, consistency <br />with PUD-81-30 and the General Plan; and <br /> <br />W~IEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council has found that the project is <br />consistent with PUD-81-30 as well as the City's <br />General Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, TtlEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Prudential Insurance <br /> Com®any for design approval for an approximately <br /> 82,500 sq. ft. building on an approximately 6 acre <br /> site located at the southwest corner of the inter- <br /> section of West Las Positas Boulevard and Hacienda <br /> Drive, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit <br /> A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
