CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-291 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF POLICE FACILITY <br />AND RECOMMENDATION THAT PUBLIC FACILITIES CORPOP~- <br />TION PROCEED WITH BOND SALE <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />the nonprofit corporation, City of Pleasanton <br />Public Facilities Corporation, has advertised for <br />bids for construction of the proposed police <br />facility and these bids were reviewed by the <br />architect and City staff; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, the City Council has reviewed the bids and <br /> recommendation of the City staff; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Almco Construction Company, in the <br /> amount of $1,229,000, for construction of the <br /> proposed police facility, is found to be acceptable <br /> and is recommended to the City of Pleasanton <br /> Public Facilities Corporation as the lowest <br /> responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City of Pleasanton Public Facilities Corporation <br /> is formally notified to proceed and award the <br /> contract and proceed with the bond sale. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Council recommends to the City of <br /> Pleasanton Public Facilities Corporation approval <br /> of the official statement for the bond sale and <br /> approval of a bond structuring program allowing <br /> for a five-year call of bonds. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 10, <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> eter . ~acDonal~, Cfty Attorney <br /> <br /> immediately <br />1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> <br /> Mercer, Wood and Mayor Butler <br /> <br /> <br />
