CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOP~IA <br /> RE~OLUTION NO. 82-285 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION A~NDING P~SOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTAB- <br />LISHIMG TRAFFIC P~GULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY <br />~NDING SECTION 6 ADDING SUBSECTION 6m-2 PROtlIBITING <br />PARKING ON THE EAST SIDE OF ~IN STREET SOUTH OF <br />P~Y STREET <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic <br />Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />~{EREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended <br /> Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of August 10, 1982, the City Council <br />received and discussed a report dated August 4, <br />1982 from the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br />related to two parking stalls on the easterly side <br />of Main Street in front of the Standard Station on <br />the corner of Main Street and Ray Street; and <br /> <br />~tEREAS, <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br />No. 76-79 to prohibit parking in front of the Standard <br />Station at the corner of Main Street and Ray Street <br />and to extend the right turn stacking lane on }~ain <br />Street; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby <br /> amended by adding subsection 6m-2 to Section 6 <br /> prohibiting parking on the east side of Main Street <br /> south of Ray Street to read as follows: <br /> <br />"6m-2 <br /> <br />Main Street, on the east side of Main Street <br />from 41.5 feet southerly of the southerly <br />curb return from Ray Street to 77.5 feet <br />southerly of that return." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TltIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUCUST 10, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
