CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-284 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING QUITCLAIM OF EASEMENT FOR <br />PARCEL MAP 3858, HACIENDA BUSINESS PARK <br /> <br />the City currently has legal. rig~_ts to the ~alley <br />Community Services District sewe~' easement"which <br />runs across Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in o~der to alleviate-.the!necessity for multiple <br />easements within the same areain the future, it <br />is appropriate for the City to quitclaim this VCSD <br />easement to the owners of Hacienda Business Park, <br />who will then dedicate a 20 foot public utility <br />easement to replace the VCSD easement and cover <br />other existing and future utilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of August 10, 1982, the City Council <br />received a report from the Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities indicating that this quitclaim <br />of easement would be in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the quitclaim of the VCSD sewer easement <br /> to the owners of Hacienda Business Park. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the quitclaim <br /> Deed to The Prudential Insurance Company of America. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 10, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr ~LER~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Peter D.
