CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALamEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-281 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LFASE AGREE~4ENT BETWEEN <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON AND FAMILY TUTORIAL PROGRAM, <br />INC. FOR VETERENS' BUILDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Family Tutorial Program, Inc. has leased the <br />Veterens' Building for use as a congregate meal <br />site and supportive recreational, information, <br />referral, education and outreach services for <br />approximately 65 senior citizens daily for the <br />past four years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a new lease has been <br />lease period with no <br />lease; and <br /> <br />negotiated for the 1982-83 <br />changes from last year's <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City Council received a report from the Director of <br />Recreation and Human Resources reviewing the program <br />and the lease terms and recommending renewal of the <br />lease; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the lease agreement between the City of <br /> Pleasanton and Family Tutorial Program, Inc. for <br /> non-exclusive use of the Veterens' Building for the <br /> period June 30, 1982 to June 30, 1983. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to <br /> execute the agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 10, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, ~ercer, Wood and Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br />~ Walker, Cit~y~Clerk ' ~ <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Peter ~.
