CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> P~SOLUTION NO. 82-311 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO L. J. <br />KRZICH PIPELINE ENGINEERING COMPANY, I[IC. <br />FOR EAST ANGELA STP~ET STOP~ DP~INAGE I~ROVE~NTS, <br />PROJECT NO. 83-1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for <br />East Angela Street Storm Drainage Improvements, <br />Project No. 83-1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the <br />City Engineering Services Division advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on August 24° <br /> 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the bid of L. J. Krzich Pipeline Engineering Company, <br />Inc., in the amount of $12,069.00 was determined <br />to be the lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br />that the bid of L. Jo Krizich Pipeline Engineering <br />Company, Inc. be accepted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the available funds to complete this project are <br />$10,000, therefore some additional funding will be <br />necessary; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of L. J. Krizich Pipeline Engineering <br /> Company, Inc., in the amount of $12,069.00, for <br /> East Angela Street storm drainage improvements, <br /> Project No. 83-1, is hereby accepted by the City <br /> Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City is authorized to enter into a contract <br /> with L. J. Krizich Pipeline Engineering Company, Inc. <br /> for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> Authorizes additional funding to be allocated <br />from the Capital Improvement Fund to complete <br />this project. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
