CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA P~SOLUTION NO. 82-311 REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO L. J. KRZICH PIPELINE ENGINEERING COMPANY, I[IC. FOR EAST ANGELA STP~ET STOP~ DP~INAGE I~ROVE~NTS, PROJECT NO. 83-1 WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for East Angela Street Storm Drainage Improvements, Project No. 83-1; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids regarding this project; and WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on August 24° 1982; and WHEREAS, the bid of L. J. Krzich Pipeline Engineering Company, Inc., in the amount of $12,069.00 was determined to be the lowest responsible bid; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended that the bid of L. Jo Krizich Pipeline Engineering Company, Inc. be accepted; and WHEREAS, the available funds to complete this project are $10,000, therefore some additional funding will be necessary; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The bid of L. J. Krizich Pipeline Engineering Company, Inc., in the amount of $12,069.00, for East Angela Street storm drainage improvements, Project No. 83-1, is hereby accepted by the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. Section 2: The City is authorized to enter into a contract with L. J. Krizich Pipeline Engineering Company, Inc. for the improvements specified above. Section 3: Authorizes additional funding to be allocated from the Capital Improvement Fund to complete this project. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
