CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />AL~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION NO. 82-305 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFI~ffNG THE COST ACC0~]TING REPORT <br />FOR NUISANCE ABATE}~NT 1982 <br /> <br />W~HEREAS, <br /> <br />abatement of weeds upon or in front of property within <br />the City of Pleasanton for those lots not abated <br />voluntarily by the owners thereof has been satis- <br />factorily completed consistent with the provisions <br />of the Government Code relating thereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Fire Marshal of the City of Pleasanton has <br />prepared based upon information furnished by the <br />City's contractor, a list of the costs on a per <br />lot basis of abating weeds upon or in front of <br />said lots; and <br /> <br />~/HEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of August 10, <br />1982 reviewed the itemized list of costs, which <br />had been previously posted outside the City Council <br />Chambers consistent with the reouirements of the <br />Government Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUHCIL OF THE CITY OF PLFASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The itemized list of the weed abatement costs for <br /> 1982 contained in the report of the Fire Marshal of <br /> the City of Pleasanton Fire Department dated <br /> August 2, 1982, is hereby confirmed. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The above costs of abatement are deemed by law to <br />constitute a special assessment against and a lien <br />upon the parcel of property, and will be added by <br />the Treasurer-Tax Collector to the next regular <br />tax bill for each parcel. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall be effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TItIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 10, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Wood and Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember l~ohr <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br />J2F,F~E~y .~~t~,i ROBERT E.
