CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-304 <br /> <br />APPROVING CONCEPT OF PROPOSED REALIGNb~NT OF <br />JOHNSON DRIVE EAST OF HOPYARD ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />as a result of the proposed reconstruction of the <br />Johnson Drive west of Hopyard Road intersection <br />and because Johnson Drive will become a major <br />entrance to Phase II of the Hacienda Business <br />Park, Johnson Drive/01d Hopyard Road needs to be <br />widened and realigned east of Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />since the acquisition of the right-of-way for this <br />proposed road improvement may require the City's <br />us of eminent domain, it is appropriate that the <br />Planning Commission and Council review and approve <br />the alignment; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, City has prepared a plan showing the realigned <br /> Johnson Drive east of Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission reviewed the proposal at <br />their meeting of July 28, 1982 and recommended <br />that the Council approve it; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: The City Council hereby gives conceptual approval <br /> to the alignment and design of the proposed Johnson <br /> Drive realignment east of ttopyard Road, as shown on <br /> the attached Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 10, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk APPP~VED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> ~{acDonald, C~ty Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
