CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />PISOLUTION NO. 82-335 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO HARCO <br />CORPORATION, t~YWAP$ FOR INTERCEPTOR SEWER <br />PROJECT, CATHODIC PROTECTION SYSTEMS, CLEAN <br />WATER GRANT PROJECT C-06-1082 <br /> <br />~IEREAS <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for <br />Interceptor Sewer Project, Cathodic Protection <br />Systems, Clean Water Grant Project C-06-1082; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEPdZAS <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the <br />City Engineering Services Division advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />~iEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on SepteFber 14, <br /> 1982; and <br /> <br />WttEREAS <br /> <br />the bid of liarco Corporation, Hayward, California, <br />in the amount of $38,380.00 was determined to be <br />the lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WttEREAS <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br />that the bid of Harco Corporation, Hayward, California <br />be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Harco Corporation, Hayward, California, <br /> in the amount of $38,380.00, for Interceptor Sewer <br /> Project, Cathodic Protection Systems, Clean Water <br /> Grant Project C-06-1082, is hereby accepted by <br /> the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City is authorized to enter into a contract <br /> with 1tarco Corporation, tlayward, California for the <br /> improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TtIIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTE~IBER 14, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, }~ercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br /> <br /> <br />
