CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-334 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SELECTING QUAIL CREEK PROJECT AS <br />WINNER OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMPETITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has <br />indicated strong concern regarding the lack of new <br />affordable housing being constructed in the city; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />by Resolution No. 81-287 the City Council established <br />an affordable housing competition and on May 11, 1982 <br />awarded winning status to the Amador Meadows project; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />by Resolution No. 82-289 the City Council called a <br />special hearing to determine whether the Quail Creek <br />project, which was excluded from the original <br />competition through a misunderstanding, would have <br />won the original competition; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said special hearing was held on September 14, 1982 <br />at 5:00 p.m.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The Quail Creek project is awarded winning status <br />in the affordable housing competition and is eligible <br />for all the benefits set forth in Resolution No. 81-287. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> This decision shall in no way affect the status <br />of the Amador Meadows project as the original winner <br />of the affordable housing competition. <br /> <br />Section 3: This award is made conditional upon the Quail <br /> Creek project receiving all necessary development <br /> plan and subdivision approvals from the City and <br /> shall in no way limit the legal authority of the <br /> Council to require project modifications as may <br /> be deemed appropriate. <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br /> This award is made conditional upon the developer <br />and the City reaching an agreement guaranteeing <br />affordability of units to target groups, permit issuance <br />date, construction commencement target, estimated <br />development and sales schedule, and completion <br />date with penalty schedule. <br /> <br /> <br />
