CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-334 RESOLUTION SELECTING QUAIL CREEK PROJECT AS WINNER OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMPETITION WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has indicated strong concern regarding the lack of new affordable housing being constructed in the city; and WHEREAS by Resolution No. 81-287 the City Council established an affordable housing competition and on May 11, 1982 awarded winning status to the Amador Meadows project; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 82-289 the City Council called a special hearing to determine whether the Quail Creek project, which was excluded from the original competition through a misunderstanding, would have won the original competition; and WHEREAS, said special hearing was held on September 14, 1982 at 5:00 p.m.; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Quail Creek project is awarded winning status in the affordable housing competition and is eligible for all the benefits set forth in Resolution No. 81-287. Section 2: This decision shall in no way affect the status of the Amador Meadows project as the original winner of the affordable housing competition. Section 3: This award is made conditional upon the Quail Creek project receiving all necessary development plan and subdivision approvals from the City and shall in no way limit the legal authority of the Council to require project modifications as may be deemed appropriate. Section 4: This award is made conditional upon the developer and the City reaching an agreement guaranteeing affordability of units to target groups, permit issuance date, construction commencement target, estimated development and sales schedule, and completion date with penalty schedule.
