CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALA}~DA COUNTY, CALIFOP~IA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-326 <br />RESOLUTION DELCARING PARCEL AS SURPLUS <br /> <br />WtlEREAS , <br /> <br />the City owns a small parcel of land (approximately <br />4,728 square feet) located on the northeast corner <br />of the intersection of Peters Avenue and Bernal <br />Avenue which is a remnant of a lot purchased for <br />Peters Avenue right-of-way, but not required as <br />part of the new street; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has determined that the property <br />is capable of independent development and can be <br />offered for sale; <br /> <br />NOW, TtIEREFORE, Tt!E CITY COUNCIL OF TtIE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Declares the parcel of land (approximately 4,728 <br /> square feet) located on the northeast corner of <br /> the intersection of Peters Avenue and Bernal Avenue <br /> as surplus. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City determines that the market value for <br /> the property is $47,280.00. <br /> <br />Section 3: City shall notify all agencies required by law <br /> to be given first opportunity to purchase surplus <br /> property. <br /> <br />Section 4: If no such agency wishes to purchase the property, <br /> the staff is authorized to advertise for bids for <br /> the sale of the property, with a minimum acceptable <br /> bid price established as $47,280. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 24, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmer. bers - Brandes, Mercer, Eohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> : <br /> By ~ '//a~d <br /> Peter D. ffacDon , City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
