CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />PZSOLUTION NO. 82-323 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL <br />INSURANCE CO}~ANY FOR DESIGN APPROVAL FOR A FIVE- <br />STORY, APPROXIMATELY 300,000 SQ. FT. OFFICE <br />BUILDING ON AN APPROXIMATELY 16.4 ACRE SITE <br />LOCATED IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY GIBRALTAR DRIVE, <br />STONERIDGE DRIVE AND HACIENDA DRIVE <br /> <br />~tEREAS, <br /> <br />The Prudential Insurance Company of America has <br />applied for design approval for a five-story, <br />approximately 300,000 sq. ft. office building on <br />an approximately 16.4 acre site located in the <br />area bounded by Gibraltar Drive, Stoneridge Drive <br />and Hacienda Drive; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for <br />the development plan of the subject site (PUD-81- <br />30) including the typical architectural and site <br />designs for individual lots, and there are no <br />changed circumstances or new information requiring <br />additional environmental review; therefore, this <br />application does not constitute a new project <br />under CEQA and no new environmental documents <br />accompany this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on J~gust 24, 1982 and <br />testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br />including its design, cumulative impact, consistency <br />with PUD-81-30 and the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WtIEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has found that the project is <br />consistent with PUD-81-30 as well as the City's <br />General Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />P~SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Prudential Insurance <br /> Company for design approval for a five-story, <br /> approximately 300,000 sq. ft. office building on <br /> an approximately 16.4 acre site located in the <br /> area bounded by Gibraltar Drive, Stoneridge Drive <br /> and Hacienda Drive, subject to those conditions <br /> listed on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
