CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-345 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING EXTENSION OF CONTRACT WITH <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY TO JUNE 30, 1983 FOR FIRE PROTECTION <br />SERVICES TO CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED AREAS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the one year contract with the County to provide <br />fire protection to the unincorporated areas <br />expired on June 30, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has received a request from <br />the County Administrator to extend the contract for <br />one year to June 30, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the County will pay the City a minimum of $66,494 <br />to continue the fire protection through fiscal year <br />1982-83; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 14, 1982, the City Council <br />received a report from the Director of Finance recom- <br />mending approval of the extension of this contract <br />to June 30, 1983; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Approves the extension of the contract with Alameda <br /> County to June 30, 1983 for the city to provide fire <br /> protection services to the following unincorporated <br /> areas: <br /> <br />Remen Tract <br />Castlewood <br />Happy Valley <br /> <br />F1964-1 <br />F1965-1 <br />F1965-2 <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 14, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />TTEST: <br /> <br /> · ~alker, City Clerk ~APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> Peter D.'MacDon City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
