CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-375 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF CONSTRUCTION OF SECRETARIAT DRIVE <br />TRAFFIC DIVERTER, PROJECT NO. 82-13, AND APPROVAL <br />OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO GENE CALDEIRA <br />GRADING AND PAVING, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by Gene Caldeira Grading and Paving, Inc. <br />on the construction of the Secretariat Drive <br />traffic diverter, Project No. 82-13, has been <br />satisfactorfly completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: The work on the construction of the Secretariat <br /> Drive traffic diverter, Project No. 82-13 is <br /> hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a warrant in the amount of $9,877.84 in favor of <br /> Gene Caldeira Grading and Paving, Inc. in satisfaction <br /> of the final progress payment for the above- <br /> accepted work on Project No. 82-13. Ten percent <br /> (10%) of the total contract or $1,097.54 will be <br /> retained until thirty (30) days after filing of <br /> the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 28, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br /> <br /> Peter D. MacDonald, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
