CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-374 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR BICYCLE PATH ON VINEYARD AVENUE <br />FROM TOURIGA DRIVE TO ADAMS WAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in response to public demand for a bicycle/pedestrian <br />path along a portion of Vineyard Avenue from <br />Touriga Drive to Adams Way, Council directed staff <br />to work with the County Road Department to develop <br />a project for providing this facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City and County have subsequently applied to <br />Metropolitan Transportation Commission for Trans- <br />portation Development Act funding for such a <br />project and it is included in the fiscal year <br />1982-83 TDA program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Authorizes staff to prepare plans and specifications <br />for a pedestrian/bicycle path along a portion of <br />Vineyard Avenue from Touriga Drive to Adams Way. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 28, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, ~ohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br /> None <br /> None <br /> None <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> OBERT E.
