EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE PROGRAM AGREEMENT <br />Page Two <br /> <br /> Data Collection <br /> <br />8. The City shall make reasonable efforts to assist the County in the collection <br /> of pertinent data regarding public safety response to medical emergencies. <br /> <br />9. The County shall involve such designees of the City Managerin any review of <br /> Exhibit A regarding (i) any complaints arising thereunder, {ii} changes in <br /> its operating procedures, and (iii) contract administration policies relating <br /> thetern. <br /> <br /> Payment <br /> <br /> 10. City shall reimburse ~ounty for all payments made by County to ambulance <br /> contractor{s) for all dry run services rendered within the jurisdiction <br /> of City, regardless of the origin~ of the request,. and-all standby services <br /> requested by a City Public Safety Agency. It is expressly agreed and <br /> understood bythe parties that City's obligatio~ to reimburse County for <br /> <br /> · dry run services shall not exceed the amounts set forth in the Reimbursement <br /> <br /> Schedule {Exhibit "D" which is a part of Exhibit "A") as said exhibit read <br /> <br /> on July 1, 1982 <br /> <br />I1. County shall submit c)~ims for p~y~Znt to City withi~ 30 days after County's <br /> payment to the ambulance contractor(s) pursuant to 'Exhibit A. Such claims <br /> shall be accompanied by supporting ~ocumentation as may be reasonably <br /> required by City. <br /> <br />12. The City shall reimburse the County' within 30 days of the receipt of County's <br /> cl aim for payment. <br /> <br />13. City may, at City's option, bi'lq the patient or other person responsible <br /> for requesting emergency ambulance response when such arequest terminates <br /> as adry run. County's Emergency Ambulance Contractor for EMS Zone IX <br /> shall provide to City,. when requested by City, information reasonably <br /> available for such Dry Runs· necessary for City's billing. <br /> <br />14. This Agreement may be modified in writing by mutual consent of the parties <br /> hereto. County shall not enterinto a modification of Exhibit A with an <br /> ambulance contractor without the written consent of City thereto. <br /> <br /> <br />
