Prior to responding any ambulance unit previously reported to CMED <br /> <br /> the Contractor shall contact ~.IED and inform Cf. IED of the intent to <br /> respond, and the destination. Upon returning to the zone of <br /> responsibility and available ?or service. the ambulance unit shall <br /> contact C,~ED to inform C~ED of availability. The Contractor shall <br /> <br /> the use of the last or only ambulance units available to serve the <br /> <br />VII. STANDBY SERVICE ~ <br /> <br /> A. Upon receipt of a r~quest for standby service originating within <br /> Con~ractor*s zone of responsibil!ty CMED shall contact Contractor <br /> and provide information regarding the location and nature of the <br /> <br /> a GgED humPer. Standby services ahll De provided only in response <br /> to requests from officials of public safety agencies.
