CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-368 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ME~'ORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON <br />FIREFIGHTERS INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE- <br />FIGHTERS, LOCAL 1974, AND FIXING SALARIES AND <br />CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES <br />OF EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 1982-83 BUDGET <br />ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City <br />Manager as employer representative of the City <br />Council, and representatives of the Pleasanton <br />Firefighters International Association of Fire- <br />fighters, Local 1974, have met and conferred <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., <br />of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours, <br />and other terms and conditions of employment for <br />members of the Pleasanton Firefighters International <br />Association of Firefighters, Local 1974; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />as a result of the above meeting and conferring <br />process, a Memorandum of Understanding dated <br />September 3, 1982, was entered into between the City <br />Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton <br />Firefighters International Association of Fire- <br />fighters, Local 1974; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to <br />the City Council at the regular meeting of <br />September 14, 1982; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between <br /> the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton <br /> Firefighters International Association of Firefighters, <br /> Local 1974, for a term commencing July 1, 1982 through <br /> June 30, 1984, attached hereto as Exhibit A and <br /> incorporated herein by reference, is hereby accepted <br /> by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton subject <br /> to the terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum <br /> of Understanding. <br /> <br />Section 2: The employees class titles and salary ranges to be <br /> paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the <br /> Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of <br /> Firefighters, Local 1974, during the period July 1, <br /> 1982 through June 30, 1984, shall be set forth in the <br /> Memorandum of Understanding, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
