CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-364 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING LOCATION OF FIRE STATION IN <br />NORTH PLEASANTON AREA <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />pursuant to the fire protection study prepared in <br />conjunction with development of the North Pleasanton <br />area, it is necessary and proper to locate a fire <br />station in the North Pleasanton area west of 1-680; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />staff has met with a representative of Daon to <br />finalize the location and the size of property for <br />the proposed fire station; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has also met with the City's Bond Counsel to <br />determine what was needed to initiate the assessment <br />district proceeding for financing of the new fire <br />station; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 14, 1982, the City <br />Council reviewed the report of Joseph B. Hill, <br />Fire Chief; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council approves the construction of a fire <br /> station located directly east of the Best Center <br /> northeastern drive on the Daon property between 1-680 <br /> and Stoneridge Mall Road. It is .86 acre in size <br /> and measures 155' deep with a 241' frontage on <br /> Stoneridge Mall Road. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 14, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> Peter D.
