CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-397 ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEED FROM F.I.G. HOLDING CO. AND APPROVAL OF PURCHASE CONTRACT FOR DUBLIN CANYON ROAD WHEREAS, the Alameda County Right-of-Way Department has succeeded in acquiring on behalf of the City of Pleasanton a parcel of land from the F.I.G. Holding Company; and WHEREAS, this land is necessary for the proposed improvement of Dublin Canyon Road as a part of Assessment District 1982-1; and W~EREAS, staff has reviewed the documents and find everything to be in order including the purchase price, which conforms to the appraisal accepted by the County on behalf of the City; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 12, 1982, the City Council reviewed a report from the Director of Public Works and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of this Grant Deed is in the public interest; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Authorizes acceptance of the Grant Deed from the F.I.G. Holding Company to the City of Pleasanton for purposes of Dublin Canyon Road improvements. Section 2: Authorizes the deposit of the purchase price in escrow upon receipt of Assessment District bond funds. Section 3: Authorizes the Director of Public Works to execute the Real Property Purchase Contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
