CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-415 REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO ALCAL ROOFING & INSULATION FOR REROOFING THE PLEASANTON CIVIC CENTER BUILDING ArID THE AMADOR PARK AQUATIC CENTER SNACK BAR, PROJECT NO. 82-16 WHEREAS , the City prepared plans and specifications for reroofing the Pleasanton Civic Center Building and the Amador Park Aquatic Center Snack Bar, Project No. 82-16; and W~EREAS, pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids regarding this project; and ~$EREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on October 26, 1982; and ~HEREAS, the bid of Pacific Coast Building Products, dba Alcal Roofing & Insulation, San Ramon, California, in the amount of $11,427.00 was determined to be the lowest responsible bid; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended that the bid of Alcal Roofing & Insulation be accepted; and WHEREAS, the available funds to complete this project are $6,000.00, therefore in order to go ahead with this project it is necessary to appropriate an additional $5,427.00; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The bid of Pacific Coast Building Products, dba Alcal Roofing & Insurlation, San Ramon, California, in the amount of $11,427.00, for reroofing the Pleasanton Civic Center building and the Amador Park Aquatic Center snack bar, Project No. 82-16, is hereby accepted by the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. Section 2: The City is authorized to enter into a contract with Alcal Roofing & Insulation for the improvements specified above. Section 3: Increase the appropriation for Project 82-16 by $5,427.00, which funds are to be applied to the City's Support Services, Building Maintenance Fund.
