CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 82-413 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BEDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO COAST <br />FENCE COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SPORTS PARK <br />PHASE III LITTLE LEAGUE FIELD IMPPOVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for construction <br />of Sports Park, Phase III, Little League field improvements <br />(fence extensions); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the <br />City Engineering Services Division advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on October 26, <br /> 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the bid of Coast Fence Company, <br />$5,563.60 was determined to be <br />bid; and <br /> <br />in the amount of <br />the lowest responsible <br /> <br />~HEREAS , <br /> <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities reconnnended <br />that the bid of Coast Fence Company be accepted; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the available funds to complete this project are $6,800; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Coast Fence Company, in the amount of <br /> $5,563.60, for construction of Sports Park, Phase III, <br /> Little League field improvements (fence extnesions) <br /> is hereby accepted by the City Council as the <br /> lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The City is authorized <br />with Coast Fence Company <br />specified above. <br /> <br />to enter into a contract <br />for the improvements <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 26, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
