CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-403 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF GP~NT DEED FROM THE PROTESTANT <br />EPISCOPAL BISHOP OF CALIFORNIA FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />OF A BUS SHELTER ON HOPYARD ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City has requested the developers of Hacienda <br />Business Park to install a bus shelter on Hopyard <br />Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in order to construct this bus shelter, an easement <br />is necessary from the Protestant Episcopal Bishop <br />of California, owner of the property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 12, 1982, the City Council <br />received a report from the Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of this <br />deed is in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Corporation Grant Deed from the Protestant <br /> Episcopal Bishop of California to the City of Pleasanton <br /> for construction and maintenance of a bus shelter and <br /> landscaping on Hopyard Road just north of South Valley <br /> Trails Drive is hereby accepted and the appropriate <br /> city officers are instructed to take whatever action <br /> is necessary to implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 12, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> ~D Attorney <br /> t t <br /> e er . ac ona , · y <br /> <br /> <br />
