CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-438 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWAPD OF CONTRACT TO ANTONIO <br />M. GONCALVES FOR REPAIR OF WATER LINE TO PUMP <br />STATION NO, 2, PROJECT NO. 82-20 <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />the City prepared plans and specifications for the <br />repair of the water line to pump station No. 2, <br />Project No. 82-20; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code §37900, et seq., the <br />City Engineering Services Division advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on November 9, <br /> 1982; and <br /> <br />~iEREAS, <br /> <br />the bid of Antonio M. Goncalves, in the amount of <br />$12,162.82 was determined to be the lowest responsible <br />bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of Antonio M. Goncalves be accepted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the available funds to complete the project are <br /> $15,000; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Antonio M. Goncalves, in the amount <br /> of $12,162.82, for the repair of the water line to <br /> pump station No. 2, Project No. 82-20, is hereby <br /> accepted by the City Council as the lowest responsible <br /> bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute the contract <br /> with Antonio M. Goncalves for the improvements <br /> specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 9, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
