Citizen Participation <br /> <br />Subgoal VI' <br /> <br />It is the goal of the City of Pleasanton to encour- <br />age citizen participation in the City's comprehen- <br />sive housing program. <br /> <br />The housing element has been the product of extensive citizen <br />participation and public hearings. Any hope of successfully <br />implementing a housing program must be based on community parti- <br />cipation. <br /> <br />Policy 1 <br /> <br /> It is the policy of the City of Pleasanton to <br /> better understand its housing problems and <br /> needs by encouraging citizen participation. <br /> <br />Response to housing issues from all sectors of the community must <br />be continually elicited from the public. <br /> <br />-44- <br /> <br /> <br />
