Implementation Program 1: To engage in "land- <br />banking" of appropriate sites for housing program <br />purposes (see Subgoal I, Policy 8, Implementation <br />Program 9). <br /> <br />It is anticipated that in some cases the City, through the housing <br />trust fund and Housing and Community Development Act (HCD) land- <br />banking funds, may be able to acquire full title to smaller parcels <br />of land. Interests acquired in larger parcels may be limited to <br />option agreements which keep property off the market and fix the <br />sale price thus facilitating later developments. <br /> <br />Equal Housing Opportunity <br /> <br />Subgoal IV <br /> <br />It is the goal of the City of Pleasanton to seek, <br />through its housing program, to make housing avail- <br />able to all households regardless of race, color, <br />religion, sex, family size, marital status, <br />national origin, ancestry or other arbitrary factors <br />and to support efforts against future discrimination <br />in housing. <br /> <br />-37- <br /> <br /> <br />
