~-HEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that it is in the City's <br />best interest and the public health, safety and <br />welfare to amend the General Plan by adopting the <br />revised draft Housing Element; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Adopts in its entirety the revised draft Housing <br /> Element with modifications as reflected in the text. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution supersedes all prior Housing <br /> Elements, including the tlousing Element adopted <br /> February 9, 1976. <br /> <br />Section 3: Directs the Director of Planning and ComMunity <br /> Development to incorporate the modifications into <br /> the final Housing Element which shall be made <br /> available for public review and distribution. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />T}iIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 26, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br />ATTESTABSTAIN:: None ROBE/~ ~ ~BU~R~~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />~PROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Peter D.
