Warnick <br />Director of Public Works <br /> and Utilities <br />City Of Pleasanton <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Pleasanton, California 94566 <br /> <br />Re: Preliminary Design of Foothill Reservoir <br /> Phase One, Investigation <br /> <br />Dear Bob: <br /> <br />Please refer to a proposal for engineering services for the <br />Foothill Reservoir dated September 16, 1982, from Camp, Dress <br />& McKee, Inc., of Walnut Creek. Phase One, Investigation, is <br />proposed to be performed within three months for fees of $12,000 <br />for the services of CDM and $4,000 for geotechnical analysis by <br />ENGEO, Inc., a total of $16,000, <br /> <br />Prudential requests the City to proceed as soon as possible with <br />Phase One, Investigation, per the CDM proposal noted above. <br />Prudential hereby authorizes the City to invoice as appropriate <br />for the cosks of the services necessary to the work and commits <br />to full and timely payments of invoices in a total amount not to <br />exceed $16,000. <br /> <br />The above request to proceed with and commitment to pay for these <br />services is conditioned upon the understanding that all work <br />performed and payments made shall be included in the proposed <br />water assessment district which is to include the lands within <br />PUD-81-30 and that Prudential shall receive appropriate credit <br />within the assessment district for such payments. <br /> <br />This request and offer is limited to Phase One only of the CDM <br />proposal. Phase Two, Design, and Phase Three, Construction <br />Services, Of the proposal are not included in this consideration- <br />However, at the conclusion of Phase One, Prudential will consider <br />the possibility of further work on the reservoir in advance of <br />the ass&ssment district formation. <br /> <br />OCT 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
