WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-446 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL OF CAMP, DRESSER <br />& McKEE, INC. AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF APPRO- <br />PRIATE CONTRACT FOR PHASE ONE: ALSO ACCEPTING <br />OFFER OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE TO PAY COSTS OF <br />PHASE ONE AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ~N APPROPRIATE <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of a proposal dated <br />September 16, 1982 from Camp, Dresser & McKee, <br />Inc. to investigate, design and provide construction <br />service for the 5-8 million gallon Foothill Reservoir; <br />and <br /> <br />Prudential Insurance Company has offered to pay <br />for the cost of Phase One as proposed by CDM up <br />to a maximum cost of $16,000.00 conditioned on <br />the City Council agreeing to allow Prudential to <br />receive appropriate credit within any future water <br />assessment district for payments made under their <br />proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 9, 1982 the City Council <br />considered the proposed project and the material <br />presented by Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc. as well as <br />the offer of Prudential Insurance ComDany; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Accepts the proposal dated September 16, 1982 as <br /> submitted by Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc., a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto, and authorizes the execution <br /> of an appropriate contract for Phase One investigation <br /> work by the Mayor as approved to form by the City <br /> Attorney. <br /> <br />Section 2: Accepts the offer dated October 18, 1982 as <br /> submitted by The Prudential Insurance Company, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto, and authorizes <br /> the Mayor to enter into an appropriate agreement, <br /> as approved by the City Attorney, to have Prudential <br /> pay for the costs of the Phase One investigation <br /> work for the Foothill Reservoir uD to a maximum cost <br /> of $16,000.00. Said agreement shall include wording <br /> agreeing to allow Prudential to receive aDDropriate <br /> credit within any future Water Assessment District <br /> for payments made for Phase One services. <br /> <br /> <br />
