WHEREAS, WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-446 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL OF CAMP, DRESSER & McKEE, INC. AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF APPRO- PRIATE CONTRACT FOR PHASE ONE: ALSO ACCEPTING OFFER OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE TO PAY COSTS OF PHASE ONE AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ~N APPROPRIATE AGREEMENT the City is in receipt of a proposal dated September 16, 1982 from Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc. to investigate, design and provide construction service for the 5-8 million gallon Foothill Reservoir; and Prudential Insurance Company has offered to pay for the cost of Phase One as proposed by CDM up to a maximum cost of $16,000.00 conditioned on the City Council agreeing to allow Prudential to receive appropriate credit within any future water assessment district for payments made under their proposal; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 9, 1982 the City Council considered the proposed project and the material presented by Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc. as well as the offer of Prudential Insurance ComDany; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Accepts the proposal dated September 16, 1982 as submitted by Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc., a copy of which is attached hereto, and authorizes the execution of an appropriate contract for Phase One investigation work by the Mayor as approved to form by the City Attorney. Section 2: Accepts the offer dated October 18, 1982 as submitted by The Prudential Insurance Company, a copy of which is attached hereto, and authorizes the Mayor to enter into an appropriate agreement, as approved by the City Attorney, to have Prudential pay for the costs of the Phase One investigation work for the Foothill Reservoir uD to a maximum cost of $16,000.00. Said agreement shall include wording agreeing to allow Prudential to receive aDDropriate credit within any future Water Assessment District for payments made for Phase One services.
