CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-474 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF OLD HOPYARD ROAD WHEREAS, a certain portion of Old HoDyard Road has become unnecessary for present or DrosDective public street use; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Pleasanton to vacate that Dortion of land pursuant to the requirements of Section 8320 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of California; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Pursuant to Section 8320 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of Califo~'~ia, the City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate a Dortion of Old Hopyard Road unnecessary for Dresent or prospective public use, said portion being an eighty(80) foot wide easement running from Johnson (Owens) Drive south to its intersection with Hopyard Road, (that area of Old Hopyard Road lying immediately easterly of the present Shell service station site located at the southeast corner of Hopyard Road and Johnson (Owens) Drive), more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Section 2: A public hearing shall be held on January 11, 1983, at 8:00 p.m. in the City Council chambers at 200 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California at which time public testimony will be taken with re~ard to the City's intention to vacate the portion of roadway described above. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
