1983 and shall be completed no later than March 1, 1983. Following the replacement of all Escapade subscribers' converters, the Escapade channel shall be broadcast only on the "A minus 2" channel or similar channel which is incapable of being received by the Hamlin converters used by basic service only subscribers; furthermore, the signal shall be adjusted so that the remaining SA 6700 converters cannot receive either audio or video portions of the Escapade channel being transmitted for receipt by Escapade subscribers using the new Zenith converters. Section 3: Escapade subscribers shall continue to be made aware of the availability of parental control devices at no charge. Section 4: Viacom shall continue to provide outside or negative traps upon request and at no charge for the Escapade channel (this is required to eliminate the audio and scrambled video for those persons who have cable-ready televisions or VCR equipment). Section 5: Viacom shall provide monthly progress reports concerning the installation of the new equipment beginning at this time and ceasing after the system modification and transition period are complete; said reports shall be forwarded to the City Manager of the City of Pleasanton. Section 6: The City Attorney is hereby directed to prepare a written agreement between the City of Pleasanton and Viacom containing the substance of this resolution and the understandings reached between the City of Pleasanton and Viacom at the November 23, 1982 City Council meeting. Section 7: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
