WHEREAS, WHEREAS , WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-489 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PREZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 78 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT THE NORTHERN TERMINUS OF MARTIN AVENUE SOUTH AND ACROSS THE ARROYO MOCHO CANAL FROM THE PLEASANTON MEADOWS TO THE PUD-LOW DENSITY RESI- DENTIAL DISTRICT at its meeting of December 13, 1982, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for prezoning an approximately 78 acre site located at the northern terminus of Martin Avenue and just south and across the Arroyo Mocho Canal from the Pleasanton Meadows area to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential District; and the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated September 14, 1982 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the prezoning of an approximately 78 acre site located at the northern terminus of Martin Avenue and just south and across the Arroyo Mocho Canal from the Pleasanton Meadows area to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential District. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
