WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-489 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />PREZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 78 ACRE SITE LOCATED <br />AT THE NORTHERN TERMINUS OF MARTIN AVENUE SOUTH <br />AND ACROSS THE ARROYO MOCHO CANAL FROM THE <br />PLEASANTON MEADOWS TO THE PUD-LOW DENSITY RESI- <br />DENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 13, 1982, the City <br />Council received a proposed negative declaration <br />for prezoning an approximately 78 acre site <br />located at the northern terminus of Martin Avenue <br />and just south and across the Arroyo Mocho Canal <br />from the Pleasanton Meadows area to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential <br />District; and <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated September 14, 1982 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />project; and <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on <br />the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the prezoning <br /> of an approximately 78 acre site located at the <br /> northern terminus of Martin Avenue and just south and <br /> across the Arroyo Mocho Canal from the Pleasanton <br /> Meadows area to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low <br /> Density Residential District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
