CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-486 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF MEADOW PLAZA ASSOCIATES FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF 5.8 ACRES LOCATED SOUTHEAST OF WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD AND SANTA RITA ROAD TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 13, 1982, the City Council received a proposed application from Meadow Plaza Associates for a General Plan amendment to change the land use designation of a 5.8 acre site located east and south of the Exxon Service Station at the southeast corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential"; and WHEREAS, the City Council considered a report, together with attachments, from the Director of Planning and Community Development regarding the proposed General Plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration was appropriate for the proposed General Plan amendment and adopted Resolution No. 82-485 aDproving the Negative Declaration; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing with respect to the General Plan amendment at which time any member of the public was offered the opportunity to address the City Council on said amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the application of Meadow Plaza Associates (GP-82-9)to change the land use designation of a 5.8 acre site located east and south of the Exxon Service Station at the southeast corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road (see attached map) from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential." Section 2: The City Council determines that this is one of the three times in 1982 that the land use element of the General Plan is amended as authorized by Government Code 965631.
