WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS , WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-485 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDmeNT CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF 5.8 ACRES LOCATED SOUTHEAST OF WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD AND SANTA RITA ROAD FROM COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL at its meeting of December 13, 1982, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for a General Plan amendment changing the land use designation of a 5.8 acre site located east and south of the Exxon Service Station at the southeast corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential"; and the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated November 30, 1982 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the oDportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the Droposed General Plan amendment; and the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS , the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment approval would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the General Plan amendment changing the land use designation of a 5.8 acre site located east and south of the Exxon Service Station at the southeast corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
