WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-485 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />A GENERAL PLAN AMENDmeNT CHANGING THE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION OF 5.8 ACRES LOCATED SOUTHEAST OF <br />WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD AND SANTA RITA ROAD <br />FROM COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES TO HIGH DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 13, 1982, the City <br />Council received a proposed negative declaration <br />for a General Plan amendment changing the land use <br />designation of a 5.8 acre site located east and <br />south of the Exxon Service Station at the southeast <br />corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita <br />Road from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density <br />Residential"; and <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated November 30, 1982 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the oDportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the Droposed <br />General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General <br />Plan amendment approval would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the General <br /> Plan amendment changing the land use designation <br /> of a 5.8 acre site located east and south of the <br /> Exxon Service Station at the southeast corner of <br /> West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road <br /> from "Commercial and Offices" to "High Density <br /> Residential. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
