CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 83-550 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR APPLICATION TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIES CO~i~ISSION <br />FOR VALLEY AVENUE AT GRADE CROSSING <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 6, 19~3, the City <br />Council received a proposed negative declaration <br />for apDlication to the Public Utilities Commission <br />for Valley Avenue at grade crossing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 21, 1983 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />PUC application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed PUC aDplication <br />for Valley Avenue at grade crossing would not have <br />any significant adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves the Negative Declaration for aDDlication to <br />the Public Utilities Commission for a Vaiiey Avenue <br />at grade crossing. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 6, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
