CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALamEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-548 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR REZONING APPROXIMATELY 21.7 ACRES LOCATED APPROXI- maTELY 1650 FEET EAST OF THE EXISTING EASTERN TERMINUS OF ~ST LAS POSITAS BOULEVAP~D FROM THE "A" (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT TO THE R-1-6500 (SINGLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT WHEREAS , at its meeting of December 6, 1983, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for rezoning an approximately 21.7 acre parcel located approximately 1650 feet east of the existing eastern terminus of West Las Positas-Boulevard from the "A" (Agricultural) to the R-1-6500 (Single- family Residential) District; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the DroDosed rezoning; and the City Council has reviewed the Dotential imDacts in accordance with the aDplicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and ~,~EREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for rezoning an approximately 21.7 acre Darcel located approximately 1650 feet east of the existing eastern terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard from the "A" (A~ricultural) District to the R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediateiv upon its passage and adoption.
