CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-544 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN ~EN~{ENT CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR 11.9 ACRES LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF MUIRWOOD DRIVE BE~EN SPRINGDALE AVENUE AND FOREST HILL DRIVE FROM "SCHOOLS" TO "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 6, 1983, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for a General Plan amendment changing the land use designation for 11.9 acres located on the north side of Muirwood Drive between Springdale Avenue and Forest Hill Drive from "Schools" to "Medium Density Residential"; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated November 2, 1983 and received the recormnendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmentalimpacts of the proposed General Plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for a General Plan amendment changing the land use designation for 11.9 acres located on the north side of ~irwood Drive between Springdale Avenue and Forest Hill Drive from "Schools" to "Medium Density Residential" District. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
